Rules

Backorders are free to place. You must have a verified account to participate. Placing a backorder does not guarantee acquisition. We attempt to catch every domain on the pending delete list but cannot guarantee success against competing registrars.

If we fail to catch a domain your backorder is automatically cancelled. No charge is made. If we successfully catch a domain with a single backorder the holder is contacted with a fixed acquisition fee invoice. If we successfully catch a domain with multiple backorders all eligible holders are invited to participate in a private auction.

Auctions are private. Only users who placed a backorder before the catch are eligible to bid. Minimum bid increment is $10. Any bid placed in the final 5 minutes extends the auction by 5 minutes indefinitely until no bids are placed in the final 5 minute window. Domains marked Portfolio Listing are owned by DomainExchange.si and subject to an undisclosed reserve price. Domains marked Backorder Catch were registered on behalf of backorder holders and have no reserve. The highest bid wins.

To protect all participants from automated bidding scripts any bid placed in the final 5 minutes automatically extends the closing time by 5 minutes. Accounts found to be using automated bidding tools will be permanently suspended without notice.

Payment is by bank transfer only. Winners have 48 hours to complete payment from close of auction or fixed price notification. Failure to pay within 48 hours results in the domain passing to the next highest bidder.

Auth codes are issued only upon confirmed receipt of payment. Transfer is the responsibility of the buyer once the auth code is issued.

We reserve the right to remove any user who places backorders in bad faith or fails to complete payment without good reason.
